UNIQUE INTRODUCTORY PRIVATE MUSIC LESSON PROGRAM FOR AGES 3-6
There is no such thing as offering music education too young. If you have a toddler or a young child, consider joining our Animal Adventures in Music program. This is a unique early childhood music program that takes place in a private, one-to-one setting for children ages 3-6. When your child participates in the Animal Adventures in Music program, they get a taste of private instrument or voice lessons through a structured, 10-level curriculum featuring games, worksheets, instruments, singing, and tons of fun. All Animal Adventures in Music lessons are taught by our professional music instructors who love working with such young students!

We seek teachers who are naturals in the classroom and can teach our students with the utmost patience and care. All our instructors either hold or are pursuing music degrees in music and have had prior experience teaching music. Every one of our instructors has gone through a rigorous hiring process where they have been been screened, auditioned, and interviewed before selected to teach. Once hired, our instructors undergo a comprehensive training program and are continually monitored to ensure consistent excellence for our students.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING AND MAKEUP OPTIONS 7 DAYS A WEEK
We have several lesson times available during the week and on the weekend to accommodate your busy schedule. Our studio in McLean is open year round, even during the summer. Additionally, if you need to change or cancel your lesson time, you can take advantage of our unlimited makeup lesson and schedule change policy. And, if you’re too busy to come in for a make-up lesson, you can request a custom video make-up lesson to do from anywhere.
PROFESSIONAL OFFICE STAFF AVAILABLE 7 DAYS A WEEK TO SERVE YOU
Many music studio front desks are staffed instructors, owners, or more commonly, an answering machine. You won’t find that at Expressions Music Academy. We have a great team of administrative professionals who are available every day of the week during business hours to assist our students warmly and effectively. Whether you need to communicate with us in person, by phone, by email, or by text, we’re here to help you.
FREE OPTIONAL BI-ANNUAL RECITALS
Students want to feel motivated to practice and parents want to see progress, so our optional recitals accomplish both these objectives. We offer a variety of recital options and themes that are performed in our very own concert hall in McLean twice a year. Our performances are supportive, warm, and never last longer than an hour.
LEVEL UP MUSIC ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM
Through our Level Up Music Achievement Program, our students can enthusiastically climb up 10 levels, earning certificates, wristbands, stickers, and trophies along the way. Think of it like a martial arts black belt program but for music lessons. This structured, nationally recognized, and motivating program is completely free for Expressions students of all ages. However, we highly encourage all of our students to participate so they’re motivated to master their instrument!

We love our beautiful, clean, bright, and spacious facilities in McLean! While most studios hold their lessons in small spaces, we think it is important to learn in an open, airy, inspiring environment with natural light and tasteful décor! Learning music should be fun, which is why we want our facility to represent who we are and what we do.
WHAT AGES AND LEVELS DO YOU TEACH?
At our music school in McLean, we teach every age from toddler to retired adult and every level from brand-new beginner to advanced. Our professional music instructors begin teaching children at age three.
WHEN IS OUR MCLEAN MUSIC SCHOOL OPEN?
Our office is open for calls, texts, and emails seven days a week. We are open 9 am-9 pm on weekdays, 9am-5pm on Saturday, and 11am-5pm on Sunday.
WHERE IS OUR MCLEAN MUSIC SCHOOL LOCATED?
Enter the building from either side. There are elevators in the center of the lobby. Take the elevators to the second floor, then turn right out of the elevator. When you reach the dentist's suite, turn right again, and we are at the end of the hall.
