Lesson Hold Options at EMA
do you have an upcoming extended conflict and are wondering what to do about music lessons? Our best recommendation is to talk with the front desk about changing your lesson schedule so you can continue as normal! However, if that is not an option, you may be eligible to choose one of the options below:
OPTION #1 - Video Lessons *Our Recommendation*
Choose if you want to continue making progress but are unavailable to attend lessons for up to 12 weeks. Video lessons do not need to be scheduled consecutively! This means that if you want to schedule some in-person lessons and some video lessons over this time, you are welcome to do so.
HOW IT WORKS:
Let us know which lessons you will be unable to attend, and your teacher will spend your lesson time creating a 10-20 minute custom video for you with lesson content and instructions for practice. We will send you the video on the same day of your normally scheduled lesson. We will allow you to keep all of your make-up passes and will not charge the re-registration fee.
COST: Standard tuition will continue to be charged as normal - no additional fees
OPTION #2 - Lesson Lock
Choose if you need to stop lessons for a period of time (between 3 and 6 consecutive weeks) and you want to return to your current lesson time and teacher as well as keep your make-up passes and not repay the $45 registration fee.
HOW IT WORKS:
Pay a non-refundable $100 deposit which is returned to you upon your returning month (reducing your tuition that month by $100). We will place a hold on your lesson time, allowing you to return to it as normal upon your return. We will allow you to keep all of your make-up passes and will not charge the re-registration fee.
TWO WEEK NOTICE:
In order to request a Lesson Lock, we need at least two weeks’ notice. The earliest date you may choose as your starting date must be at least two weeks from today.
COST: No tuition will be charged for the time period your lesson is held - no additional fees
